Welding Table V-block Pad
The welding table V-block comes in two main connection styles: integral one-piece construction and screw-connected assembly. Choose integral V blocks for heavy-load fixed locating applications, or screw-connected V blocks for easy disassembly, modification and flexible fixture reconfiguration.
Multiple material options are available to match different workshop environments: nylon, stainless steel, iron and copper. We also supply four core angle categories: single angle, cross angle, combined angle and composite angle, to fit simple locating jobs or complex multi-tube welding jigs.

How To Use Your V-Block
- Select the correct V block Check your pipe outer diameter and pick the matching V-groove angle. Use 90° V block for tubes under 100mm, 120° for 100–140mm pipe, and 140–150° wide V block for pipe larger than 140mm.
- Place V block on your 3D welding table or workpiece Position the V-type positioning block at your required locating point on your D16 or D28 3D welding table grid. You can also mount it directly onto existing workpieces as a secondary locating support.
- Lock the V block firmly Secure the V-Type Support Block using table bolts, locating pins or clamps. Make sure there is no wobble before placing your round tube into the V-groove.
- Load your pipe into V-groove Set the tube inside the V groove; the V shape naturally centers the pipe and prevents rolling. Add side clamps if heavy loads or long welding cycles are expected.
- Complete welding / assembly Perform welding, marking, cutting or assembly work. After finishing, release clamps and reposition the V block quickly for your next workpiece.
Maintenance Tip: Clean V-groove after each use, remove weld spatter and metal chips to preserve positioning accuracy.
